Astoria Games is an American board game publisher known for "TRICKY! Fantasy Feud" and "Making Monsters". I had the privilege of designing banners and advertising collateral for their card game, TRICKY! Fantasy Feud, on their Kickstarter campaign. I thoroughly enjoyed working alongside them, it was such a fun project, and very insightful - I learnt a lot regarding the making of board games, and what is required in advertising on Kickstarter.
The design choices for TRICKY! Fantasy Feud's Kickstarter had a powerful impact, re-establishing the brand as a bold, exciting, and fast paced card game. The combination of warm and cool colours, bold lines, and cell-shading in the original card designs were reflected throughout my design collateral to create a cohesive feel when scrolling through the Kickstarter campaign. TRICKY! Fantasy Feud had a successful launch on Kickstarter with 134 backers and made a total $4,529 - $1,529 above the expected pledge amount.
